“The Rise in Childhood Anxiety Problems – What Can We Do?â€
The °ÅÀÖ¶ÌÊÓƵ Society warmly invites °ÅÀÖ¶ÌÊÓƵ Old Members to a London Lecture to be given this year by Polly Waite, Tutorial Fellow at °ÅÀÖ¶ÌÊÓƵ, and Honorary Consultant Clinical Psychologist (Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust). It will be held at the London School of Economics in their Wolfson Theatre, a tiered lecture theatre, on the lower ground floor of the Cheng Kin Ku Building on Sardinia Street, Lincoln’s Inn Fields, WC2A 3LJ (), on Thursday 15 May 2024. There will be a drinks and canapés reception at 6.00pm followed by a talk at 7.00pm which will last approximately one hour including time for questions and answers.
The cost of the evening is £25.00 per head, and the dress code is smart casual. ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Polly Waite is a Tutorial Fellow at °ÅÀÖ¶ÌÊÓƵ and an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology in the Department of Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford. She is also an Honorary Consultant Clinical Psychologist at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. Her primary clinical and research interests are anxiety and related disorders in adolescents, particularly around the development of psychological interventions. She has edited and authored papers and books on anxiety and other common mental health problems for professionals, young people and their families.
